Wauwatosa – 2025 Master Suite Dormer Addition

The homeowners wanted to create a true master bedroom suite in their home. The idea was to take the current attic space, which had a bedroom, and add a full bathroom, walk-in closet, and loft space that could be used as an office or kids’ play area. We looked at many options, some of which did not require a home addition. The customer decided the best way to get all the master suite amenities they wanted was to add square footage to the second floor and dormer out the back of the house.

The Dimension Design-Build-Remodel team created a floor plan that included a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a double bowl sink, a larger bedroom, and added loft space. Finishes included luxury vinyl plank flooring and a quartz countertop in the bathroom. Since we could not exactly match the older vinyl siding, we installed a complementary color and size. A new roof was added to the entire house.
